He is survived by: his wife Sharyn Joy Mathews (Muluck); his daughter Kelly Ann Mathews of Traverse City, Michigan; his sister Mae Lydia McDowell of New York; his sister-in-law Margaret Mathews (Marie) of Sault Ste; his sibling's children, Dennis (Carol), Michael (Cindy), Steven (Dionne), Joel Mesnard (Tina), Scott McDowell and Cynthia McDowell; and his friend Katina Ferrell. He is also survived by grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
