He was predeceased by : his parents, Toivo Mike and Ruth Hyvarinen (Worlin); his brother Edward Hyvarinen; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Huyck and William VerStrate.
He is survived by : his sisters, Eleanor Sherman (Lee), Esther Armstrong, Alice VerStrate and Adella Huyck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
