We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2023, at the age of 83, Marjorie Lee Johnston of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Sheppard and Eleanor Sheppard (Smart); her husband Bill Johnston; her brother Lorne Sheppard; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Smart and Burton Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Johnston (Karen) of Sault Ste, Marie and Noel Pingatore (Frank) of Sault Ste; her sisters, Sara Jones of Sault Ste, Marie and Susan Hovie (Bob) of Sault Ste; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Sheppard (Marie) of Sault Ste and Irene Smart (Marie) of Sault Ste; her grandchildren, Kimberley Pingatore (Nick Pavloski), Francis "Frank" Pingatore (Britney), Joe Pingatore, Nicholas "Nick" Johnston and Triton Johnston; and her great grandchild Archer Pingatore.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations be made to the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
