It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Messer (Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan), who passed away on October 21, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandson Chuck McPherson; and her siblings, Albert Douglas, Dorothy Norton and Lilian Schubert. She is survived by : her husband Ernest Messer; and her children, Karen Corbiere (Donald) of Sault Ste, Connie McPherson of Sault Ste and Gary Messer (Mikki) of Sault Ste. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Sault Wesleyan Church.
