He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Somes and Agnus Somes of Sault Ste; his siblings, Jack Somes (Joy), Eva Jane Harris (Ron), Emily Brooks (Bob), Rosemane Anderson (Red), Gil Somes (Marjorie), Harold Somes, Audrey King (Raymond) and Sharon Woodruff (Marvin); his daughter Jennifer Kokko; and his grandson Tyler Wayne Kokko.
He is survived by : his wife Jennie Somes of Sault Ste; his siblings, Richard Somes (Noreen) and Mildred Radley; his children, Sharolyn Reed (Larry) of Sault Ste and Gary Somes of Sault Ste; his son-in-law Ralph Kokko (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Scott Donaghe (Melissa), Ryan Kokko of Sault Ste, Nichole Brown (Bruce), Andrea Kokko of Sault Ste, Wayne Somes (Kristina), Jenna Somes and Jade Somes of Sault Ste; his great grandchildren, Mason, Harper, Makenna, Brynn and Avery; and his close friend Mike Piche. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
