He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeRooy and Julia DeRooy (VanBergen); his siblings, Robert DeRooy, Maryann DeRooy and Pat Adams; and his nephew Christopher Wahr.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Louise Jensen; his children, Melissa DeRooy, Amanda Merkey (Rusty), Carrie DeRooy and Bob DeRooy; and his siblings, Louise Wahr (Jon) and Joe DeRooy (Tammy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
