He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Haag and Estella Haag (Law); his siblings, Donna Riddlebaucher (Sam), Jeannette Bursick (Jack) and Jean Ahler (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Florence and Dana Haag.

He is survived by : his wife Ida Fibranz; his sons, James Haag and Scott Haag (Carol); his grandchildren, Brittany Vincent (Shane Heinitz), MaKenna Haag, Abigail Haag and Adam Haag; his great grandchild Jade Heinitz; and his siblings, Ernest Haag, Fred Haag (Maude), Dennis Haag, John Haag (Janet), Billy Haag (Betty) and Nancy Anderson (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to the Sebewaing American Legion Post #293.
