With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Christine Petz (Shelby Township, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Christine left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Lukomski and Genevieve Lukomski; her spouse Russell; her sons, Dave Petz (Anne), Greg Petz (Donna) and Eric Petz (Meggan); her grandchildren, Brooke, Rachel, Brennan, Austin, Nolan, Abby, Riley, Isabel and Brady; and her brother Joseph Lukomski.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). The lying in state will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be directed, in Christine's memory, to the Alzheimer's Association.
