She was predeceased by: her husband Swante Wirtanen; and her siblings, James, Michael Frances (Frank), Mary Ellen (Eileen), Gerald, Alphonsus, Maureen and Agnes Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Kelly (Robert), Kevin, David (Eloida), Linda Jerome (Tim) and Laura Velasco; and her brother Vincent Quinn. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit", a charity near and dear to Kathleen's heart.
