With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maudie Irene Hibdon of Shelby Township, Michigan, born in Woodbury, Tennessee, who passed away on February 25, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Cornie and Hannah Mae Gunter; and her siblings, Elsie Pauline Smithson (Andy), Chole Evelyn Bogle (Calvin) and Thad Gunter (Mary).

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Hibdon (Tonya), Priscilla "Jean" Wood (Dennis), James Michael Hibdon (late Debbie), Terry Hibdon (JoAnn), Phyllis Lyles (late Stephen), Gary Hibdon (Linda), Ronald Hibdon (Monica) and Robin Gross (Edward). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
