It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore Picciurro (Shelby, Michigan), who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his siblings, Antonino Picciurro (Bina) and Teresa Badalamenti (late Francesco). He is survived by : his spouse Silvana; his children, Giuseppe Picciurro (Catherine) and Attilio Picciurro (Deanna); his grandchildren, Bianca Rose, Selena Lucia, Valentino Michael and Giorgio James; his siblings, Franco Picciurro (Catherine) and Concetta Carmesini (Marcello); and his siblings-in-law, Franco Rea (Maria), Dario Rea (Marisa), Maria D'Orazio (Attilio) and Pasqualino Rea (Rosanna). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and life long friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (54880 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby Charter Twp, MI 48316). A funeral mass was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Charter Twp, MI 48315-1403). Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private visitation will be held.
