He is survived by : his parents, John Godfrey Lauffer and Clarissa Lydia Lauffer (Dago); his wife Carol Ann Lauffer (Lingg); his children, Kimberly Ann Lauffer, Jaima Beth Vance (Robert) and Scott Thomas Lauffer; his grandsons, Finn Lauffer and Owen Lauffer; his brother William F. Lauffer; and also, Sparta, Kami Michels of Ann Arbor, Dustin S. Vance of Illinois and Clarissa L. Schipper (Lauffer).
