She was predeceased by : her mother Janet E. Hammond (Macleod). She is survived by : her father William E. Hammond (Judy); her pets, Magnum and Gunner; her husband Dennis Magirl; her sister Beverly Brownell (Mike) of Belding; her nieces, Elizabeth Manns (Ben) of East Lansing, Jessica Haines (Paul) of Caledonia, Jennifer Brownell of Belding, Sarah Brownell of Belding and Megan Brownell of Belding; her great-nephew Cameron Haines; her mother-in-law Mary Magirl of Greenville; her brother-in-law Dave Magirl (Lori) of Greenville; her nephews, Andrew Magirl (Lauren) of Greenville and Carter Magirl (Cassie) of Greenville; her great-nephew Owen Magirl; and her stepsiblings, Rhonda Benner-Boylan (Steve), Debi Benner, Adam Springsteen (Melissa) and Clint Slusser (Nori) of Greenville. She is also survived by many other friends and co-workers.

Memorials may be given to the Humane Society or Nursing Student Scholarship at Montcalm Community College.
