She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Allen and Julia Allen (Seguin); her siblings, Duane and Patricia; her husbands, Thomas Hantz and Leland Reif; and her son-in-law Leo Richer.

She is survived by: her children, Alene Colvin (Steve), Susan High (John), Ken Hantz (Suzette), David Hantz (Jennifer), Donald Hantz (Kim), Kathy Evans (Mike), Betty Jean Richer, Julieanne McDaniel (Vaughn), Geraldine Barber (Aaron) and Warren Hantz (Gail); and her close friend Reilly. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maureen's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Processing Center, PO Box 863765, Orlando, FL 32886, Marquette County Salvation Army, 1009 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette, MI 49885 or Pediatric Cardiology University of Minnesota, 5th Floor East Building, 8951H, 2450 Riverside Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55454.
