She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Nicholas and Wilma Nicholas (Campbell). She is survived by: her husband John Stochla Jr.; her stepchildren, Britt Stochla and Aaron Stochla; her sisters, Judy Muszkiewicz and Linda Faulk (Greg); and her siblings' children, Tammy Grossman, Linda Lee Queen and Jerry Kittle.

Memorials may be made to the Sanilac County Humane Society.
