He was predeceased by: his father Dwight Hunt Sr.; and his friend Derek Jumper. He is survived by: his mother Susan Ubungen Hunt; his friend Jackie; his wife Jacquelynn Hunt-Deneau; his sister Heather; his brother-in-law Dylan Wood; his in-laws, Jim and Nancy Deneau; and his siblings-in-law, Jennie and Kyle Penick.
The military honors was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (820 5th St, Michigan Center, MI 49254). Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Addison Congregational Church (202 S Talbot St, Addison, MI 49220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Addison Congregational Church, or given directly to the family for future designation.
