She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Philip and Josephine Marianne York (Felice); and her sister-in-law Michele York. She is survived by : her husband Mark E. Cummins; her children, Juliana Paterra of Chicago, Giovanni Paterra of Grass Lake, MI and Marco Paterra (Alison) of Brooklyn, MI; her stepsons, Sam Cummins of Dewitt, MI and Nick Cummins of Grand Rapids, MI; her granddaughter Rozlyn Paterra; her brothers, Richard York (Cheryl) of Ludington, MI, Edward York (Tracey) of Belleville, MI and Gregory York of Fenton, MI; and her aunt Grace York of Ann Arbor, MI. She is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
She made over 750 face masks and donated them to help fight the current COVID-19 pandemic.
