She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Fred Young and Melissa Tyler (Powell); her husband John Watkins, Sr.; her son John Watkins, Jr.; her grandchildren, Juwann Young and John Watkins, III; her great great grandchild J'onna Rose Watkins; her siblings, Willia Mae Jordan, Leona Young, Robert Young and Jimmy Young; her children, Melvin Young of Atlanta, Georgia, Derick Watkins of Muskegon and Micheal Watkins (Felishia) of Grand Rapids; and her siblings, Georgia Young of South Haven, Juanita Young of St. Joseph and Freddie Williams of Chicago. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
