We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, at the age of 88, Christine Louise Kozlowski (South Haven, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Bergstrom and Mary Bergstrom; her former husband James A Smith; her husband Edward Kozlowski; her brothers, Charles (Marion) and Oscar (Wanda); and her sister-in-law Marie.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Smith Jr. and Laurie Tanczos (Tom); her grandchildren, Kristin Reinick (Phil), Taylor Tanczos and James A. Smith II (Rachel); her stepgrandchildren, Aaron Tanczos (Tara) and Megan Shank (Nate); her great grandchildren, Reese Christine, Crue, Grady Reinick and Amelia James Smith; and her stepgrandchildren, Kaden and Kylie Shank.
Christy requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Al-Van Humane Society in her memory for all the precious animals she had through the years.
