She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lloyd Carter and Lucy Carter (Heckl); her spouse Christian Madsen; her sister Muriel Carter; her children, Christian Madsen (Danielle Havenstein) of Grand Rapids and Patricia (Richard) of South Haven; her granddaughter Missy Willis (Jay Pletz); and her great grandchild Christopher Pletz.
