He was predeceased by : his mother Beverly Brickel (Bednarczyk); and his grandparents, Nicholas, Kathleen Bednarczyk and Kathleen Brickel. He is survived by : his father Dr. David Brickel of Traverse City; his brothers, Matthew Brickel (Laurel) of Bad Axe and Thomas Brickel; his niece Ella Brickel; his grandfather Richard Brickel; his aunts, Gail Eigner, Cheryl Hill and Debra Brickel; and his uncle Daniel Brickel (Linda).
