Lois Levine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Levine of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Ernstein and Abe Ernstein; her brother Robert Ernstein; and her son-in-law Dr. Stephen Bendix. She is survived by: her children, Lauren Bendix (Stuart Cykiert), Dr. Robert Levine (Michele) and Douglas Levine (Ronna); her grandchildren, Brooke Frankel (Jamie), Dr. Scott Bendix (Shira), Jason Bendix (Jessica), Matthew Bendix, Alysa Levine (Seth Feldman), Daniel Levine (Mara), Allison Gittleman (Jace) and Jessica Levine; her great grandchild Stella Gittleman; her sister Carol Hooberman (Paul); and her husband Seymour Levine. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A shiva will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Home of Dr (23617 Shagwood Dr, Bingham Farms, MI 48025). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
