He is survived by : his spouse Merle "Cookie" Newman; his children, Matthew Newman (Danielle DePriest), Jessica Newman and Devoted; his sister Sharon Horwitz (late Jerome); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Sefansky, David Goldstein, Brian Sefansky, Bhavana Sinh and Shari Jenner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
