He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Marie Pol (Mason-Follett); and his pet Molly. He is survived by: his children, John David Mason, James Robert Mason (Lacey) and Kathryn Lucille Paasch (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Lenore, Eric, Caroline, Eleanor and Audrey; and his niece Holly Marlatt.
