He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence [DeFouw] and Anna [DeFouw]; and his siblings, Marilyn June and David Hapner. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Robert Dale Hapner and Jeanne Baker Coonrod (Ken); his grandchildren, Ryan Baker (Annie) and Jennifer Baker; his great grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Luke, Nolan and Madisyn; his sister Bonnie Boylan (Al); and his sisters-in-law, Sue Hapner and Alicia Laansma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
