With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Orr of Standish, Michigan, who passed away on September 9, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fredrick R. Downer and Florence Downer (McGovern); her son Bruce; her son-in-law William Thorp; her sister Mary Jane Walker (Harvey); and her close friend Ray Perry.

She is survived by : her children, Suzanne Thorp and Lyle Orr (Connie); her grandchildren, Onalee Watson (Rob), Ashlee Bennett (Gary) and Sean Thorp (Christa); her great grandchildren, Emily Watson, Taylor Bennett, Makayla Bennett and Ciara Thorp; and her nephews, Fred Walker (Jeri) and Jim Anthony (Peggy).
