With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anita Mae Knieper of Sterling Heights, Michigan, born in Peoria, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Anita Mae left this world on May 3, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne; her parents, John Dahl and Mary Dahl; and her brother Allen Dahl. She is survived by: her children, Christopher (Michelle), Sharon, Mary Jo Brown (Jeffrey) and Grace Burns (Adam); and her grandchildren, Kristen, Daniel, Addy, Huck, Juni, John, Isla and Anna.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation or Public Broadcasting Service are greatly appreciated.
