We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Christine Marie Laubach of Sterling Heights, Michigan, born in Hamtramck, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Dorothy Berent and Harry Berent. She is survived by : her husband Marv; her siblings, Diane Kaminski (late Lori Berent) and Thomas Berent (Betty); her brother-in-law Glenn Gielniak (late Louise); her sisters, Janet Tepper (late David) and Joann Szyniszewski (late Robert); her children, Michele Powell (Paul), Kim Laubach, Carl Laubach (Brian McCallum), Matt Laubach and Erica Laubach; her grandchildren, Amanda Awe (Bob), Nicholas Laubach, Zachary Powell (Jessica Schultz) and Skylee Laubach; her great grandchild Colson Awe; her grandchildren, Daniel and Brianna; and her sisters, Loretta and Louise. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A rosary was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church (35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
She also liked donating to the American Red Cross and especially the Wounded Warriors Project.
