The passing of Cirilo P. Magaway Jr. of Sterling Heights, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cirilo Sr. Magaway and Cayetana Magaway; and his siblings, Josefina Antonio, Jesus Magaway, Erlinda Bautista and Samuel Magaway.
He is survived by: his wife Nieves; his children, Chet Magaway (Anita) and Christine Magaway; his grandchildren, Daniel, Amy and David; and his siblings, Romeo Magaway (Felicitas) and Rosella Dumlao. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
