He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee; his brother George Richard "Dick" Hartshorn; his children, Glenn (Theresa Hartshorn) and Wendy (John McQuiston); his grandchildren, Erica (Mark Verkest), Joshua Corbin (Brooke), Allegra Corbin (Jason Field) and James Hartshorn; his great grandchildren, Grady Verkest, Everly Verkest and Blakely Corbin; and his stepgrandchildren, John McQuiston IV and Jenna McQuiston.
