She was predeceased by : her parents, Fredrick John and Minnie Walter (Zampich); her husband Donald E. Kersey; and her siblings, Fredrick John August, Shirley Walter and Hilda Mina Paselk (late Leonard).

She is survived by : her children, Don Kersey (Deby), Jennifer Thomas (Anthony) and John Kersey (Gloria); her grandchildren, Brian (Jenn), Brendan (Marybeth), Kourtney DeVos (Trent), Anthony II (Alicia Wood) and Noah (Vinna Villacencio); and her great grandchildren, Archer, Oliver, Harrison and Kyler.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (47120 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
