He was predeceased by: his parent Dailey Gabbard; his wife Eula Gabbard; his mother Martha Gabbard; and his brothers, Eugene Gabbard, Dudley Gabbard (Deane) and Sam Gabbard (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Rod Gabbard, Judy Tassell (Jim) and Bill Gabbard (Diane); his grandchildren, Michael Tassell, Matthew Tassell (Zuzanna) and Bethany Konway; and his sisters-in-law, Loretta Gabbard, Lois Combs and Ann Amburgy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
