She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Pitman and Evelyn Pitman (Frenthway); her husband Dick; her brother John Pitman; and her brother-in-law Robert DeHaan.
She is survived by: her children, David Hagenauer (Heather) of DeWitt, MI, Catherine Cremin of Holland, MI, Lisa Ward (Scott) of Caledonia, MI and Nancy Poelker (Jamie); her grandchildren, Sarah Cremin, Lilli, Brynn and John Ward; her sister Geraldine DeHaan of Panora, IA; and her sibling's children, Michael DeHaan, Deb DeHaan, Mark DeHaan (Joann), Sally Mele (Bill) and Richard Cluever.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stevensville United Methodist Church (5506 Ridge Rd, Stevensville, MI 49127). A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1015 Gull Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49048).
