She was predeceased by: her sons, Bobby Newberry and Patrick Patterson; and her sister Shirley Birch. She is survived by: her husband Gerald; and her children, Janie Ramsey of Gallatin, Tennessee and Charles J. Patterson of Fort Worth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
