We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2019, at the age of 63, Catherine Layman (Suttons Bay, Michigan), born in Carbondale, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Audley Bruce and Catherine Bruce (Kinnee); her husband Jeff; her daughters, Rachel Johnson (Billy) and Sarah Schultz (Bryan); her grandson Carter Schultz; her brothers, Timothy Bruce (Karen), John Bruce and Paul; and also Jeffrey H. Layman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in her memory to Northwest Food Coalition at 2279 S. Airport Road W., Traverse City, MI 49684.
