She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Jacques and Zelma Jacques (Hawkins); her husbands, Carroll "Bud" Bassett and William Hill, Jr.; her grandson Derrick McAlister; her siblings, Jackie Jacques, Carmalita Lance and Louella Ackers; and her brothers-in-law, James Lance and Thomas Everett.

She is survived by : her children, Sheila Duplanty, Yolanda McAlister, Melanie Anderson (William) and Kevin McAlister (Trang); her stepson Steven Hill (Yetta); her grandchildren, Nichole Duplanty, Tanya Boucher and Kelsi Rivard (Dakota); her great grandchildren, Denis Duplanty, Matthew, Elizabeth Boucher, Savanna Rivard, Hudson Rivard and Mason Rivard; and her siblings, Jerry Jacques (Shirley), Jonelle Everett, Clyde (Judy), Linda Swafford (Joe) and Tom Jacques.
