He was predeceased by : his parents, Lowell R. Risk and Louise I. Risk (Berry); his wife Nina E. Ashton; his stepfather Gerald Rodesiler; his brother David Risk, Sr.; his niece Amy Hart; and his nephew David Risk, Jr..

He is survived by : his siblings, Berniece Hart (Art) of Tekonsha and Douglas Risk (Kathy) of Hillsdale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
