She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Alchermes and Janet Alchermes (McCrea); and her husband Tom VanOosterhout. She is survived by: her close friend Carol Osborn; her children, Kevin Hart (Shelly Zelin), Stephen Hart (Sarah), Peter VanOosterhout, Mary Huhnke (Karl) and Jennifer Cooley (John); her grandchildren, Sarah Sheteron (Lloyd), Katie Ashbaugh (Steve Scott), Maggie Ashbaugh and Jadzia Cooley; her great grandchildren, Landon Sheteron, Hunter Swinehart, Gavin Swinehart, Lorelai Winkler and Addisyn Winkler; and her siblings, Stephen Alchermes (Dari), Brian Alchermes (Christy) and Jane Reilly (Joseph).
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hohner Funeral Home (1004 Arnold St, Three Rivers, MI 49093). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
