He was predeceased by: his parents, Sulo Richard and Adele Irene Salonen (Ohman); and his siblings, Richard and Patsy. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jeff Salonen (Siri) and Cassie Revett (Bob); his grandchildren, Taylor Salonen, Brad Revett (Shaina Kalbfleisch) and Dr. Becca Query (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Adeline. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church (2242 LaFranier Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, possibly for playground equipment for the children.
