He was predeceased by: his brothers, Russ and Randy Tesarz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tesarz (Tolle-Newton); his children, Mariah and Joshua Tesarz; his stepchildren, Katherine and Jack Newton; his siblings, Richard Tesarz (Kathi) and Raelyn Sanford (Jeff); his sister-in-law Karen Tesarz; his siblings' children, Jason, Adam, Bri, Eric, Alex, Tyler and Parker; and his grandchildren, James and Ruby.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Side Community Church (4975 E Traverse Hwy, Traverse City, MI 49684). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Life/Open House (785 Munson Ave, Traverse City, MI 49686).
