He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles and Edward. He is survived by: his wife Tia Brueggemann; his sons, James Brueggemann (Lisa) and John Brueggemann (Christina); and his grandchildren, Christiana Brueggemann, Emilia Brueggemann, Anabelle Brueggemann and Peter Brueggemann.
