We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2018, at the age of 80, David Erwin Schlenkert (Troy, Michigan), born in Gloversville, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Lavina. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Eva), James and Daniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Rebecca, Andrew, Aaron, Nathan and Hailee; and his great grandchildren, Delaney, Cortland, Lily and Liam.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial tributes to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike; Cold Spring, KY 41076.
