She is survived by: her husband Max Gates; her children, Maia McGrath (Michael) and Aaron Kotlus-Gates; her grandson Travis Cameron Gates; her sister Susan Retzky (Allan); and her sibling-in-law Jean Alpervitz (George). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
