He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Vainberg and Klara Plyatskaya; and his sister Edya of Be'er Sheva. He is survived by: his wife Margarita; his sons, Oleg and Roman; his sister Nika; and his grandchildren, Dmitriy, Jenny, Andrei, Alena, Jacob and Alexander.
