He was predeceased by: his parents, Agia Mansour and Hanna Salama; and his siblings, Fouad Salama, Aida, Julia and Ellen Salama.

He is survived by: his wife Matelda K. Samaan; his children, Nabil Salama (Kim), Maged Salama (Sonia), Dr. Violette Henein (Nabil) and Hanan Hanna (Moheb); his grandchildren, Andrew, Natalie Salama (Nabil), Christina, Philopater, Antony Salama (Maged), Dr. Laura, Meena Henein (Violette), Marina, Mark and Michael Hanna (Hanan); his sister Ferial Salama; and his close friends, Amin Ghali and Isabel Samaan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving extended family.

Memorial donations may be made in Fawzy's honor to St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church.
