He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Christy McDonald; his children, Caroline, Josh and Catherine; his parents, Roger Samuelsen and Jeane Samuelsen; and his siblings, Robert McBurney (Courtney) and Thea Kano (Doug). He was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews.
