He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cox and Mary Lu Cox; his wife Carol Smith Cox; his children, Ted Cox (Domonica) and Deb Giron (Isaac); his grandchildren, Theo, Emma Cox, Eryce Wilcoxson and Micah Giron; and his sibling's children, Kathy Reeves (Jim), Sally Gilreath (Greg), Bill McGillicuddy (Maggie) and Mike McGillicuddy (Traci).
