She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Ron Thuringer (Patty) and Debby McAnally (Bob); her grandsons, Carl Thuringer (Nicole), Brian Thuringer (Jillian), Sean McAnally (Sarah) and Scott McAnally (Loren); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, David, Jonathan and Addison McAnally; her brother John Walker (Wanda); and her sisters-in-law, Ellen Zibell, JoAnne Sanders and Wanda Walker.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to The Cove, Asheville NC.
