He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice "Joy" Messick (Ann) and Richard Earl Messick Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Michele Burris of Hartland, MI and Jennifer Robbins (Gerald). He is also survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews and 4 great nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to support the Melanoma Research Fund at the University of Michigan.
