Sara M. Russ Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2020, at the age of 88, Sara M. Russ of Troy, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Kaufman and Alice Kaufman (Mills); her siblings, John Kaufman (Gwen) of San Diego, CA, Donald Kaufman of Cass City, MI and Janice Jorgenson (Arlo); and her brothers-in-law, James Russ and Wesley "Butch" Russ (late Beverly).

She is survived by: her husband Marvin; her children, Dennis Russ (Sandra) of Fenton, MI, Carl Russ (Marilyn) of Media, PA, Gayle McClenahan of Troy, MI, Brion Russ of Clarkson, MI, Toni Haggerty (Kenneth) of Troy, MI and Corey Green (Todd) of Troy, MI.; her grandchildren, Jason Russ, Jennifer Zanti, Tara Odgers, Kristin Haggerty, Jessica Russ, Katie Haggerty, Jamie McClenahan, Erin McClenahan, Madison Green and Morgan Green; her great grandchildren, Zander Zanti, Ariana Zanti, Ella Odgers, Madelyn Odgers, Charlotte Russ, Olivia Masson, Jackson Masson and Avery Masson; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Russ (Mary) of South Bend, IN, Eunice Kaufman (Tuckey) of Cass City, MI and Phyllis Russ (Scharf) of Gladstone, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sara's memory to Assured Hospice Care in Southfield, Michigan.
